In October 2023, the South Coast lost a beloved figure – Hector “Happy Hec” Gauthier, the familiar voice of WSAR morning radio. While we at BayCoast are saddened by Hector’s passing, we take pride in having known such a remarkable individual. For over four decades, he shared his passion for our community through his morning show on WSAR. Hector was a comforting presence, guiding us through many challenging times with his calm demeanor. \u00a0We invite you to tune in as John McMahon, BayCoast Bank’s Senior Vice President of Community Engagement, had the privilege of being interviewed by the legendary radio host.
