SWANSEA, SOUTH EASTON, MA \u2013 BayCoast Bank (baycoast.bank<\/a>), a respected community savings bank serving the people and businesses on the South Coast of Massachusetts and Rhode Island since 1851, is proud to announce that Marie Pellegrino of South Easton, Massachusetts, has been promoted to the esteemed position of Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer. She previously held the title of Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this new role, Pellegrino, under the direction of the President and CEO, oversees Human Resources and Training, Business Development, Community Banking, Maintenance, Strategic Initiatives, BayCoast Insurance, BayCoast Mortgage, Plimoth Investment Advisors and Priority Funding.\u00a0She also manages the Bank\u2019s ongoing operations to effectively grow its subsidiaries while maintaining financial strength and efficiencies.\u00a0 Pellegrino will also act as officer-in-charge in the absence of the President.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pellegrino joined BayCoast Bank in 2013 with more than 20 years of expertise in the financial industry. Her impressive background includes earning a Bachelor\u2019s degree in Business Administration and Accounting from Providence College.\u00a0 She is also a graduate of the Massachusetts Bankers School of Financial Studies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
