SWANSEA, FALL RIVER, NEW BEDFORD, ACUSHNET, MA,  \u2013 BayCoast Bank, a long-time, respected community savings bank serving the people and businesses on the South Coast of Massachusetts and Rhode Island, is excited to announce the promotion of Jay Bernardo to Branch Manager at River\u2019s Edge, located at 20 Turner Street in Fall River, Massachusetts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bernardo, who previously served as Assistant Branch Manager at the Bank\u2019s Ashley Boulevard office in New Bedford, Massachusetts, brings 12 years of experience to his new role, where he oversees the daily operations of the branch, and develops new deposit and loan business, while building relationships with new and existing customers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A resident of Acushnet, Massachusetts, Bernardo is a proud 1996 graduate of Greater New Bedford Regional Vocational Technical High School. In his spare time, he enjoys relaxing with family and dining out at the many fine restaurants the South Coast has to offer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Olga Fernandes, who previously served at the helm of the River\u2019s Edge branch since its opening in 2022, is now proudly welcoming customers as Branch Manager at the Bank\u2019s office location at 1000 Ashley Boulevard in New Bedford.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
