SWANSEA, MA, CRANSTON, RI \u2013 BayCoast Bank, a long-time, respected community savings bank serving the South Coast of Massachusetts and Rhode Island, is proud to announce the promotion of Kevin J. Briggs to Senior Vice President, Strategic Initiatives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this role Briggs, who joined BayCoast Bank in 2021, assists in managing the Enterprise Strategic Plan that enables the Executive Team to assess the vision of the organization. He also oversees multiple organizational initiatives that align with this Bank\u2019s strategic direction, such as the Credit Card program, Facilities, Real Estate, as well as other key programs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A resident of Cranston, Rhode Island, Briggs holds a Master\u2019s degree from Harvard University\u2019s Extension School and a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of New Haven. He is a graduate of the ABA Stonier Graduate School of Banking and a certificate holder of the Wharton Leadership Program at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A dedicated member of the community, Briggs volunteers for numerous organizations. In 2022, he joined the Board of Directors at Foster Forward, a nonprofit based in East Providence, Rhode Island that empowers lives impacted by foster care. He is the Chair of the Board of Trustees for the Paul Cuffee Charter School in Providence, Rhode Island. He is also a mentor, and an Assistant Football Coach at Shea High School in Pawtucket, Rhode Island.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
