Meet Kevin Pelland

Kevin Pelland joined BayCoast Bank in June 2003. As Vice President and Commercial Loan Officer, he is responsible for developing and maintaining commercial business relationships with a primary focus on expanding the Bank’s market share in the Greater New Bedford region.

Kevin is a graduate of Leadership South Coast Academy from the University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth. He has also completed numerous lending and banking programs from various institutions, such as the American Bankers Association and the National Association of Development Organizations (NADO).

Kevin is a strong community advocate as is evident by his current and past involvement in numerous non-profit organizations, including: New Bedford Area Chamber of Commerce, American Red Cross, New Bedford Economic Development Council, SMILES, Junior Achievement. He is the Chairman for SEED Corporation’s Small Business Loan Committee, and a member of the Board of Trustees of Global Learning Charter Public School. He has also served as President and Chairman of the Board of Directors for Downtown New Bedford, Inc. since 2002. Kevin is the founder of the New Bedford Seaport Chowder Festival, and the Annual Taste Of SouthCoast Festival. Kevin resides in East Freetown, MA with his wife.
