BayCoast Bank Announces National Industry Honors for Marketing Research & Analytics Officer, Timothy R. Girard


Girard Receives American Bankers Association (ABA) Certificate in Bank Marketing, and is named ABA’s Bank Marketing School Student Advisor and Advisory Board Member

Swansea, MA – BayCoast Bank (baycoast.bank) proudly announces the recent accomplishment of Timothy R. Girard from Fall River, Massachusetts, who successfully completed the esteemed American Bankers Association (ABA) Bank Marketing School program and was also chosen to be the ABA Bank Marketing School Student Advisor and Advisory Board Member for the upcoming year.

The ABA Bank Marketing School is a comprehensive program designed to enhance the skills and knowledge of professionals in the banking industry. The curriculum covers a wide range of topics including marketing strategy, customer engagement, digital marketing, and regulatory compliance.

Upon meeting the program’s criteria, Girard has earned an ABA Certificate in Bank Marketing. This milestone signifies his first step towards obtaining Certified Financial Marketing Professional (CFMP) accreditation, anticipated in June 2024.

As the Marketing Research & Analytics Officer at BayCoast Bank, Girard is responsible for providing data-driven insights and recommendations to support the bank’s marketing and business development initiatives.

With more than 14 years of experience at BayCoast Bank, Girard previously managed the Bank’s eCommerce Department and worked on various projects involving database management, market research, product research, data analysis, and email automation.

Girard holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Management from Berklee College of Music and a certificate in Data and Analytics from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School. His passion for music, which is intertwined with mathematical concepts, as well as his skills in data and analytics complement each other and enable him to create innovative and effective marketing solutions.

In addition to his professional pursuits, Girard is deeply involved in his community, where he serves as Co-Treasurer and Board Member for Triumph, Inc. Head Start in Taunton. He is also a member of reputable industry associations, including the American Bankers Association, Independent Community Bankers Association, and the New England Financial Marketing Association. In his free time, he freelances as a saxophone player in local musical groups.
