Meet Daniel DeCosta

With over two decades of dedicated service to BayCoast Bank, Dan DeCosta assumes a pivotal role in the organization. He diligently oversees the day-to-day operations of the E-Commerce, Information Technology, and Information Systems departments. Moreover, Dan takes on the responsibilities of a Solutions Architect, designing new business processes using automation tools and internal development to create efficiencies across the Bank and its affiliated entities, including BayCoast Insurance, BayCoast Mortgage, Priority Funding, and Plimoth Investment Advisors.

Dan’s leadership extends to his roles as the Chair of the Bank’s Information Technology Steering Committee and the Financial Technology Committee. He also works directly with multiple development and project teams, highlighting his commitment to steering the Bank’s technological initiatives. As a dedicated member, he actively contributes to the Information Security and Marketing Committees and holds a membership position on the Executive Council for Digital Insight/NCR.

Dan’s academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Business Information Systems from the University of Massachusetts-Dartmouth, complemented by numerous specialized training and certification programs that further enhance his expertise. Beyond his professional duties, Dan generously lends his technical guidance and services to Steppingstone Inc. and the United Way of Greater Fall River, showcasing his commitment to community support. Residing in Wrentham, MA, Dan is an integral part of the local community.
