Meet June Goguen

June was recently promoted to Senior Vice President, Commercial Lending Team Leader for the Greater New Bedford Area of BayCoast Bank. She is responsible for working with the region’s team of Commercial Lenders to continue developing new commercial loan business and enhance existing commercial loan relationships. She has had over 25 years of experience in banking with the last nineteen years as a V.P. Commercial Loan Officer. Goguen joined BayCoast Bank in 2014.

Her prior positions include V.P. Commercial Lender for Bridgewater Savings Bank and Eastern Bank. She also previously served as a Project Manager for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Dept. of Economic Development’s Office of Business Development (MOBD).

June holds a BS in Business Management and Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth graduating first in her class. In 2012, she was awarded Massachusetts Women in Business Champion from the Small Business Administration (SBA).

Ms. Goguen serves on numerous boards which currently include Clerk of the Waterfront Historic Area League and Director of the Community Boating Center. She is a past board member of the New Bedford Area Chamber of Commerce, prior Chair of the International Trade Assistance Center, prior board member of New Bedford Art Museum, UMass Dartmouth ENACTUS, UMass Dartmouth Leduc Center for Civic Engagement, and SEED Corporation. She has also been involved with numerous organizations including Downtown New Bedford Inc., Junior Achievement and Bristol Community College.
