Meet Marie Pellegrino
Marie Pellegrino began her finance career with a strong foundation in healthcare administration and accounting. In 2000, she transitioned to the community banking industry, commencing her journey at People’s Credit Union in Middletown, RI. Her remarkable journey continued as she assumed the role of Vice President and Controller at Newport Federal Savings Bank. In 2013, she embraced a new challenge by joining BayCoast Bank in Swansea, Massachusetts.
Marie is a shining example of financial prowess and effective management, earning praise from peers and direct reports, who often describe her as “one of the smartest and calmest individuals in the room.”
Her educational background reflects her commitment to excellence, as she graduated from the Massachusetts School of Financial Studies and ascended to the role of Chief Financial Officer at BayCoast in 2019. Marie’s collegiate journey led her to Providence College on a full scholarship, where she showcased her athleticism as a Division 1 College Softball pitcher while earning a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Accounting.
Marie planted her roots in South Easton, MA, alongside her husband. Beyond her professional achievements, she is a devoted nature and animal enthusiast. Her generous spirit extends to volunteering her time at several local community organizations, reflecting her dedication to making a positive impact. Marie currently serves as a Board member for the Watuppa Rowing Center and One SouthCoast Chamber.
