Steve brings a wealth of experience, spanning more than 30 years, in the investment management industry. His impressive career has taken him through some of the world’s largest investment institutions, including global names like Scudder, Stevens & Clark, and State Street Global Advisors. At State Street, he held the position of Senior Portfolio Manager, where he managed institutional fixed-income portfolios.

In his previous role at Plimoth, Steve showcased his leadership and investment acumen by overseeing the development of Plimoth’s proprietary economic and investment analytics programs, which serve as the backbone of their decision-making platform.

As the President and CEO of Plimoth today, Steve’s responsibilities encompass the strategic development of the firm and the meticulous oversight of all internal functions conducted by its operating divisions. Impressively, Steve continues to remain an active member of the investment management team, where he remains engaged in the management of client portfolios.

Steve’s academic journey reflects his dedication to and passion for the industry, holding a Bachelor of Science in economics and a Master of Science in finance, both from Suffolk University. His commitment to professional growth is underlined by his graduation from the ABA Stonier Graduate School and the Wharton Leadership Program. Steve has earned the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation from the CFA Institute and is a member of the CFA Institute and the Boston Security Analysts Society.

Steve is in his 19th year with Plimoth and considers his work helping develop Plimoth’s Wealth Management business his most rewarding career achievement. His passion for developing relationships with his team and clients has reinforced a culture of high-quality service that drives the firm’s success.
